🌊🔬 « Mesure ta Science » sur l’eau avec les collégiens d’Étel !

Avec les élèves de la section nautique du collège d’Étel, nous avons allié navigation et science directement sur leurs catamarans. Ils y ont collecté des données essentielles pour mieux connaître la ria d’Étel : salinité, température, échantillons de plancton, turbidité… Autant d’informations précieuses pour comprendre et préserver leur environnement.

Former les athlètes de demain, c’est aussi leur apprendre à porter un regard différent sur leur zone de pratique. Une philosophie que partage l’équipe @sailsofchange, actuellement en entraînement pour la saison TF35, où performance rime avec respect de la nature.

Et si on inspirait ensemble les futures générations à naviguer autrement ? ⛵💙

🌊🔬 “Test Your Science” on the water with the middle school students from Étel (France)!

Together with students from the sailing program at Étel Middle School, we combined sailing and science right on their catamarans. They collected essential data to better understand the Étel estuary: salinity, temperature, plankton samples, turbidity… All valuable information for understanding and preserving their environment.

Training tomorrow’s athletes also means teaching them to view their sailing environment in a new light. This is a philosophy shared by the @sailsofchange team, currently training for the TF35 season, where performance goes hand in hand with respect for nature.

What if we inspired future generations together to sail differently? ⛵💙

Le printemps est là : et si on faisait découvrir la pollinisation à vos élèves ?

Nous avons conçu une animation nature sur les insectes pollinisateurs, en collaboration avec @lejardin.bzh, une association qui sensibilise à l’environnement par les fleurs.

En trois temps, vos élèves apprendront en s’amusant avec :
✨ Un jeu mouvant pour découvrir les caractéristiques des insectes : leur taille, leur origine, leur mode de déplacement…
🌿 Une activité motrice pour comprendre la diffusion du pollen,
🔍 Une observation des insectes en pleine nature.

Tout ça en extérieur, pour apprendre au grand air et au contact de la nature ! Apprendre à connaître les insectes, c’est apprendre à les aimer et surtout à les protéger.

Spring is here: why not introduce your students to pollination?

We’ve designed a nature activity on pollinating insects, in collaboration with @lejardin.bzh, an organization that raises environmental awareness through flowers.

In three steps, your students will learn while having fun with:
✨ An interactive game to discover the characteristics of insects: their size, where they come from, how they move…
🌿 A physical activity to understand how pollen spreads,
🔍 Observing insects in the wild.

All of this takes place outdoors, so students can learn in the fresh air and in close contact with nature! Learning about insects means learning to love them and, above all, to protect them.
