A wonderful nature adventure with the Henri Matisse School in Damgan

1 min
In just a few days, 60 pupils from the Henri Matisse School in Damgan experienced an unforgettable nature immersion… a stone’s throw from their school, then in Saint‑Philibert, very close to our offices, located between sea and nature.

First stop in Damgan

The Sow My Dream team went on site to meet the GS‑CP classes in the morning, then the CE1‑CE2 classes in the afternoon. Together, they explored the strandline, observed the treasures left by the tides, and discovered why this coastal zone is so precious for biodiversity. An activity with their feet in the sand, learning while marveling.

Second stop in Saint‑Philibert

The following week, it was the CM1‑CM2 classes who joined the team in Saint‑Philibert for a full day of discoveries. After a quick stop in our offices, the pupils experienced several highlights:

  • a scientific workshop on the pontoons using the “Measure Your Science” protocol!
  • a picnic on the beach
  • a sensory walk to immerse themselves in the sounds, smells, and textures of nature
  • and to finish, a second “strandline discovery” activity, with eyes now a little more trained!

A wonderful dynamic has emerged between the team and the teachers of the Henri Matisse School.
Everything suggests that this collaboration will continue next year!
