On the program: exploration, observation and discoveries, for a full immersion in the world of freshwater.
On foot, the CM pupils in the morning, then the CE pupils in the afternoon, reached a tributary of the Scorff, very close to their school. A great opportunity to experience a familiar place… differently.
On site, the young scientists moved from one workshop to another, curious and motivated at every stage.
Three highlights structured this nature outing
Data collection workshop
Temperature, salinity, color, current speed… The pupils learned to handle measuring instruments and to observe with rigor, like real researchers.
Aquatic Ecomap workshop
With pencils in hand, the children mapped the body of water and its surroundings in their own way. A sensitive and creative way to represent what they perceive of the environment.
Water cycle workshop
For the first time, we offered a large collective mural to retrace the journey of a drop of water, from the cloud to the tap. By drawing together the natural and domestic cycle, the pupils discovered the key stages of this essential process.
This day in nature was rich in discoveries, learning and exchanges. The children went home with new knowledge, a sharpened view of their environment… and the desire to take action!
