That is why we support teachers and schools in their efforts to promote sustainability and environmental education by connecting the various stakeholders and facilitating the implementation of sustainable initiatives.
A concrete example?
At the school in Crach, we helped build a bridge between Atelier Bivouac, a specialist in eco-friendly design, and Sails of Change, which gave old racing sails a new lease on life by incorporating them into the design of the new playground. A wonderful example of upcycling and collaboration in support of an educational and environmental project!
Why should we add greenery to schoolyards?
- To provide children with a more calming and inspiring environment
- To enable them to observe and understand biodiversity
- To make them aware, from an early age, of climate and environmental issues.
Many teachers are already taking this approach, and we would love to hear from you if you are planning a greening or nature education project at your school.
Do you have an initiative underway or under consideration? Let’s talk about it!
