That’s it — as the year 2025 comes to an end, the pupils of Kerstran School have chosen the site where they will establish their Educational Land Area!

A site chosen with great care
Before organising their Earth Council, the pupils set out some selection criteria:
- Do we like this place?
- Is it good for biodiversity?
- Is it secure?
- Who should we contact to use it?
They therefore compared the two potential sites.
Un vote à la quasi-unanimité !
Out of 46 voters:
- 7 votes went to a private plot, which had everything to please but seemed less practical in the eyes of the pupils,
- and 39 votes went to the public land of the Chapel of Our Lady of the Road, managed by the town hall and other local stakeholders.

Now that they have made their choice, their first task will be to write to the owners of the venue to:
- explain their project and approach to them,
- to introduce oneself,
- and request authorization to create their ATE on this site.
See you in 2026 for the next chapter in this educational and environmental adventure!
