A comprehensive programme that brings together science, citizenship and environmental education. The aim? To provide teachers with a ready-to-use tool for exploring interactions within ecosystems… and their delicate balances.
On the agenda for this first trial
- Brainstorming sessions, interactive quizzes and hands-on activities to reconstruct food chains, symbiotic relationships and the connections between ecosystems.
- A ‘Commitment Tree’ created in collaboration with the pupils to identify solutions to the decline in biodiversity, both at their local level and on a global scale.
- A photo-language workshop designed to create a space for expressing the emotions evoked by nature.
- And a hands-on, sensory activity: making seed trays and mini greenhouses from recycled materials.
Feedback from pupils has been overwhelmingly positive, reinforcing our desire to develop this activity into a comprehensive activity sheet for teachers.
