Young scientists in action with “Measure Your Science”!

Do you have a water source near your school and a class full of budding young scientists? Download our “Measure Your Science” kit today!

With this educational kit, introduce your students to the scientific method and the analysis of aquatic ecosystems. Using simple, age-appropriate tools, they will learn to observe, measure, and analyze their environment just like real researchers. For example, in the field, students can measure water turbidity using a Secchi disk, record the temperature with a thermometer, and collect water samples with a plankton net. Back in the classroom, analysis under a binocular loupe and microscope allows them to discover biodiversity that is often invisible to the naked eye and to understand the challenges associated with preserving aquatic environments.

The “Measure Your Science!” kit, developed in collaboration with Les Petits Débrouillards PACA, provides teachers with a structured, ready-to-use framework that allows them to incorporate these experiments into their lesson plans. Whether your school is located near a pond, a lake, a river, or the ocean, this program adapts to any setting and encourages participatory and engaging scientific exploration.

Would you like to tap into the educational potential of your local environment? The “Measure Your Science!” kit is available to support your classroom projects. For more information, please contact us.
